Stay warm in front of the fireplace or go for a walk to enjoy the fresh air. The nearby township of Grenfell is a historic gold mining town surrounded by broad acre farming. The Weddin Mountains National Park to the west is close by for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. North-east is Conimbla National Park, a peaceful nature reserve with easy bushwalks, birdwatching and scenic views. Cowra is a 45 minutes drive where you will find the Japanese Gardens, heritage listed buildings and WWII historical displays.
