Montoro Wines is located in the cool-climate growing area of Orange in the Central Highlands of New South Wales. Montoro Wines is situated on the Cargo Road to the west of Orange in the Cabonne Shire. Positioned at approximately 900 metres above sea level with warm summer daytime temperatures and cool night temperatures. These mild conditions give us a slow and long but even ripening period, thus allowing complexity to build in our fruit before harvesting. Montoro vineyard was established in 1993 and planted with the PT23 clone of Shiraz The vines are now over 20 years of age and delivering their finest product. Montoro Wines grapes are of exceptional quality, selected and handpicked for the production of limited quantities of exceptional wines. Montoro Wines are beautifully crafted by winemakers Charlie Svenson and Will Rikard Bell. They produce sensational Shiraz wines and our range includes: Montoro Pepper Shiraz, Montoro Artisan Shiraz Montoro “End of the Day” Rosé, Montoro “Opal Eyes” Sparkling Shiraz, and a magnificent Montoro Vintage Shiraz
