Bilingarra Indigenous Art and Culture is the creation of Brett Groves, Wiradjuri born with links to Gadigal and Dharug country.Born from a pandemic pivot, Bilingarra is Brett's project from the heart. Growing up Brett did not have any education around First Nations Culture, Language and history.Bilingarra is Brett's opportunity to self-educate about the richness and beauty of being First Nations. With each story or bit of information Brett learns, he will make a product or produce an artwork to share that story with not only the country but the world.Brett's grandfather did a lot of work in the Aboriginal equality space and he is now carrying on that work, he felt it only fitting that he named his product range after him, Herbert Groves.Brett will produce an artwork based on a story, the artwork is scanned to create a digital image and from that image, all sorts of beautiful products are made for both the home and commercial spaces. If you are looking for gift packs, artefacts, artwork, tea towels, bush tucker foods, teas, bath salts, essential oils, shirts, jumpers, yard art or outdoor artwork for a public space, the more creative Brett can get the more enthused he will be.
