The Cowra Rose Garden contains approximately 880 bushes of 130 varieties including a bed of the beautiful Cowra Rose. The garden was recommended by Ben Swane of Swane’s Nursery in 1987.

Farleigh 'Beach' Reserve
Farleigh Reserve Road, Cowra
Farleigh Reserve is a peaceful picnic area on the bank of the Lachlan River, within 10 kilometres of the centre of Cowra.
There is a modern long-drop toilet, picnic tables and bins. Plenty of shade is provided by large eucalypt trees and there is also sunny spots for those who have solar panels.
Japanese and Australian War Cemeteries
Doncaster Drive, Cowra
The Japanese War Cemetery contains graves of the Japanese involved in the POW Breakout during World War Two, as well as other internees and those involved with the battle of Darwin. The land was ceded to Japan in 1963, thus Cowra has its own little piece of Japan.
Lone Pine Park
Corner Lachlan Valley Way and Mid-Western Highway, Cowra
Connections to the past are a vital key to the future. In Lone Pine Park, opposite the Cowra Visitor Information Centre, you will find a tree that was propagated from a pine seed off the famous Lone Pine at Gallipoli.
